Google Doodle

Everyone at some point has drawn attention to the famous Google doodles 
commemorating offers us celebrate someone or some special celebration. 
In 2012 Google offered once again, creative doodles
 that included interaction in some cases.

 Here we present below a collection of the top 10 doodles that Google offered.


January 26 2012 - The Doodle depicts three elephants decked in finery, each with two children and a tri-coloured umbrella on it's back, a reference to the Bravery Awardees who take part in the Republic Day parade.





7 February 2012 - The Doodle depicts characters from Dickens' Victorian era novels including the famous Scrooge from A Christmas Carol, and Pip from Great Expectations.





February 29 2012 - The Google doodle depicts Rossini's famous Le Barbier de Séville opera in a unique way - it has 4 frogs, each doing something related to the 'The Barber of Seville'.



14 April 2012 - Robert Doisneau was one of France's best known photographers, most famous for his photograph The Kiss, a photo of a couple kissing in the busy streets of Paris.




9 May 2012 - The doodle shows Carter standing amongst the artifacts excavated from the tomb of Tutankhamun proudly inspecting his work.



23 June 2012 - Alan Mathison Turing's 100th birthday is being celebrated by Google through a very interesting doodle, which is actually a mock-up of Turing machine and users have to spell the word 'Google' in the binary code to solve it.


24 July 2012 - Amelia Earhart was a noted female aviator and the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. The Google doodle depicts Amelia Earhart on top of a stationary plane.


27 July 2012 - Opening ceremony London 2012 is marked by a Google doodle, which shows 5 athletes - incidentally also the number of rings in the Olympic logo - playing different Olympic sports.


September 7 2012 - The 46th Anniversary of Star Trek: The Original Series is honoured by an interactive Google doodle featuring characters from the iconic science fiction series.


October 15 2012 - Winsor McCay was an American cartoonist and animator who's said to have been born in Michigan on September 26, 1869. McCay's Little Nemo in Slumberland is the subject of this animated Google doodle.
